These two are my dream couple, you guys. From Madi’s custom two-piece dress, stunning bouquet and floral crown By Rachel Osguthorpe, and cathedral length veil, to Garth’s floral tie and navy Hugo Boss suit, everything was pure perfection. We decided on the Great Saltair and the surrounding area for their formals (it has the look of the Salt Flats, just a whole lot closer) and it turned out exactly how I envisioned. I had so much fun during the entire shoot and it honestly felt like I was just hanging out with some friends. Their love in infectious and wait till you see Garth’s face when he see’s Madi’s dress for the first time (spoiler, it’s great)! I am just so incredibly happy for them and I wish I could be celebrating with them in California this weekend!

You guys, I’m pretty much obsessed with this session. Emily and Braden are two of the cutest people I’ve ever met and I am so excited for their Vegas wedding in May! Emily is from Las Vegas, Nevada while Braden is from just a hop and a skip over in Alberta, Canada! Talk about polar opposites, haha. We headed up to Big Cottonwood Canyon and did some adventuring — aka me almost-dying like 842379 times (I’m not lying when I say I’m a huge klutz). But let me tell you, it was so SO worth it. I hope you all love these photos and much as I do.

Oh boy, where do I even start with these two? I’ve known Michelle for quite some time now and I’d say our friendship has been an interesting one. Hayden is the yin to her yang and I couldn’t be happier for the both of them! When discussing their engagements they both agreed that they wanted something different (no hipster mountain shots or sandy deserts) and I was all for it. The studio space we used was perfectly imperfect. From the pink splattered cement floors to the exposed beams and dusty windows, we loved it all. These two gave me full creative rang and I am forever thankful for their trust in me and my abilities. I hope you love this session as much as I do.

“I have loved you for a thousand years..” – Christina Perri

This shoot is what dreams are made of. Amanda and Jess are two very special people, not to mention ridiculously good looking, and I wanted to create something equally as special for them. I teamed up with some amazing vendors to put together the amazingness you’ll see below. Inspiration came from a few different aspects of Amanda and Jess’s love. From their wedding colors to their first dance song (which played a huge part in the style aka the tea lights), it all came together so perfectly and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

We started off at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple where Jess and Amanda stepped out as husband and wife for the first time. It’s such a special place for them and I thought it would mean a lot of we paid homage to it. We then headed to The Charcoal Loft, a super cool venue/studio located in downtown SLC. The natural light in that space is unreal and it was absolutely perfect for the minimalistic style I wanted.

I couldn’t have done any of this without the many incredible vendors I had the pleasure of collaborating with! First off, a quick shout out to Jadie from Jadie Jo Photography. She’s not only a sweetheart, but she’s insanely talented and I highly recommend her!

Amanda’s dress (which is even more stunning in person) is from Free People. I love in intricate lace details on the sleeve and the bottom of the dress. It’s a unique spin on a classic dress shape!

The incredible florals are by Angela of Ambedo Floral. She went above and beyond with this shoot. The centerpiece she created was absolutely stunning! Don’t even get me started on how amazing those garden roses smelled.

Now onto the cake — everyone loves cake! At least, I do. The naked chocolate cake was done by the very talented Gabby of Sugar House Bakes. It tasted as good as it looked, trust me.

Now, enough of my blabbering and onto the photos — enjoy!

Last but not least, Ayley and Hannah Johnson of MØØNSTRUCK PICTURES were the videographers on this shoot. They created the stunning video below and I feel they captured the day perfectly. They’re such a great time and highly recommend them.

Hey friends. I know, I know, it’s been a hot minute since I’ve blogged… BUT that is going to change! One of my 2016 “resolutions” is to blog more frequently to keep you guys in the loop. So, to start things off let me just say that 2015 ended with a total bang! Emmie and Mitchell’s December wedding was my last of the year and one of my absolute favorites. Emmie is from Sweden, Mitchell is from Utah, and with the help of a friend found each other and fell in love. Their energy and love is infectious and I couldn’t be happier for the both of them!

Cool fact: Emmie made her own wedding dress! She sure is a talented (and stunning) little cookie.

The day started off at the Draper LDS Temple for their sealing, followed by an amazing luncheon at the Hidden Valley Country Club, and then an open house reception at a stunning private residence in the evening. Everything was so perfect and I hope you love the photos as much as I do.

xo, Lisa
